Coach Creighton has been active in sports since he was a young child. From playing soccer, basketball and baseball he realized that his greatest athletic skill was his endurance, so he became a distance runner in high school, achieving All-CIF in both cross-country and track. He earned a scholarship to run for UCLA where he was a member of the threepeat Pac-10 champion Bruins men’s track and field team. While at UCLA he was named All-Academic Pac-10 multiple times and set multiple records. His UCLA-USC meet record in the 5,000 meters still stands today.

After graduating from UCLA, besides coaching high school basketball cross-country and track and field, Coach Creighton has taught kindergarten and special education at both the elementary school and high school levels. He’s excited to be a part of the JMG family!
