Coach Isela is a San Gabriel–born athlete and coach with a lifelong passion for sports, leadership, and community. A triathlete in her youth, she has competed in volleyball, soccer and track, building a strong foundation of discipline, teamwork and versatility. She was recognized for her leadership and adaptability throughout her playing career.

She later attended Pasadena City College, earning an associate’s degree in Communications Management and graduating on the Dean’s List. This led to the development of a strong passion for communication and connecting with others. She continued her involvement as a coach for the City of San Gabriel at her former middle school, spending three years coaching, progressing from junior varsity to varsity leading both teams. Her journey as an athlete, student and coach reflects a deep commitment to sports, leadership and mentorship within her community. She is excited to be joining the JMG team!
